The Capital Markets and Securities Authority (CMSA) and industry stakeholders are implementing various capital market development initiatives as outlined in the Financial Sector Development Master Plan (FSDMP) 2020/21 – 2029/30. Part of such endeavours include professional development through a certification program conducted in collaboration with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), United Kingdom. Complementary to the professional certification, CMSA has introduced the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program which aims at enhancing the integrity and competitiveness of the market and market professionals domestically and internationally. CMSA has prepared a half-day capital market stakeholder’s workshop and launch of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program, on 29th February 2024, from 08:30 to 14:00 hours at Julius Nyerere International Conference Centre, Dar es Salaam. The Guest of Honor for the launch ceremony will be the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Natu Mwamba.
